Dave's Story

HI my name is Dave and I was diagnosed with hep c a few months ago like many others I had been feeling week and tiered all the time sick to my stomach pains for years in my abdomen of course the docs kept saying it was this and that running all kinds of test on me repeating tests on me and never really finding out what was wrong with me until a few months ago I was in seeing my gastro doctor he was going to run another test on me when I was in the room getting prepped for the test the doc came in and casually told me I had hep c I did not think it was a big deal I had hep b and it never hurt me and the doc acted like it was no big deal he set me an appointment to talk to me about it three weeks later that's when I found out how bad it was and what treatment I was going to have to go through they put me on the combo treatment they said it would be for a year my gyneo type is 1a they had to redoes my amount in the shots because my white count was dropping it dropped to 2000 after a week of redoes shots my white count is up to 2550 a little better but I still have to stay on the 1.5 three times a week in stead of my normal dose of 3 I don't like that much because my chances of responding aren't as good but im still hanging in there with alot of help and support from my wife she has bin the biggest help to me putting up with my mood swings dealing with the finances handling the kids and all of the other stuff we all need to commend those that are there for us it is not an easy task for them either yes the treatments are rough but if I can be cured it will bee worth it I will try to update as often as possible if any one out there needs some one to talk to or if there is others out there that I could talk to about fighting this dragon please feel free to e mail me at dmc68@msn.com I could use the support god bless all and good luck in your fight
